Shipping and Receiving

I've noticed on sites like Etsy and eBay, sellers sometimes specify that their item comes from a "smoke-free, pet-free" home. I am used to seeing the first, but that last one is new to me. So I thought perhaps I should introduce Emmaline, manager of Shipping and Receiving. That's her there, receiving a package. She was given her position due to her enthusiasm for brown trucks and the men who drive them.

I figured a warning might be in order, with all the Pirate Ponies about to arrive at their new homes. We really try to keep Emma from putting too much of herself into her work, but still packages often go out with... well, evidence that this is most certainly not a "pet-free home"! (Don't look closely under the tape and all will be fine...)

Beautiful staff you have Lesli. ;)

It can't be as terrifying as an entire cat made out of fluff. Every night when I brush my cat, I get whole kittens worth of fuzz!

Thank you all for the comments on my "staff". And sometimes I think we are working on making another dog!

I foolishly thought that maybe her kind of fur - the sort of fringey kind, rather than the fluffy kind - might shed less. But I have come to the conclusion that all the fur types I like shed.

At least my friends don't mind if life is a little furry around the edges. :)

Oh Lesli -

Yes, DaBar had its share of fur helpers. Most recently Wasabi, our kitten given to us by Dave's brother back in April, lived at the shop until we had him cleared by the vet, and was big enough to come home and meet Ursula. During that time, if anyone really paid attention to the tape, or the tp wrapped around the horses, well, they got a bonus ;)!

Oh the tp lost due to his helping...still finding shreds in odd places....
