Hot Chocolate and Dry Mittens

I had set aside today to take pictures of some newly finished horses, but it's snowing and the kids are home from school. Excited kids. Kids who haven't seen snow in several years. Kids too wired to be in the same house with ceramic horses. So we are all taking the day off.

I don't actually do snow. I hate the cold. There is no way I'm venturing outside to build a snowman. But I make a mean cup of hot chocolate (I have a whole jar of marshmallow fluff!) and I'm more than happy to keep a steady rotation of mittens in the dryer. I also have a lovely collection of old hats, scarves and carrot noses - for someone else to use.

Now if I could just find a way to hand all these things to them without opening the back door...

How did you guys get snow and it missed us here in NY? I'll gladly take it off you hands! Im dying to make a snowman this year with my son.

We're supposed to get three more inches of snow tonight. Maybe there will be enough to build a big one tomorrow. Yesterday's snow was too slushy and all they could manage to build was a really small, slightly squishy one. And even that didn't last long because Emma ATE him!

Put a pass-through, mug size, on the back door and you'll never have to open that door again! HA!
Our new house has a cat 'door' in the wall, I thought our cats would never use it, we just replaced the flap as it appears the cats blast through that door!
Thanks so much for the photo's about molds.....It sure does give me a bigger picture of all the work involved!
Enjoy the weekend, stay warm!
